With the construction of the five new dwellings by the canal in Bridge Road progressing, it's expected that the power supplies will be cut off when power is connected.

Anyone who is placed at risk by not having power to their property, needs to ensure they are on the Priority Services Register. The Parish Council recommends that anyone who will be at risk or suffer when the power cuts happen, should contact their Service Provider and ask to be placed on the Priority Services Register.

At present, it is not known when the work is planned, so please consider registering now.

Information on preparing for a planned power cut is available at https://www.westernpower.co.uk/power-cut-information/power-cut-advice/planned-interruptions.

Anglian Water have communicated by mail with all residents in the village explaining that the water mains in the village are to be flushed on Thursday 10th December between 9am and 6pm. Residents on Northampton Road and Stratford Road will have their water mains flushed on Friday 11th December. Anyone in a high risk group, having a medical condition that makes you especially vulnerable should visit www.anglianwater.co.uk/watercare where support will be available.
